Council refers multiple community funding requests to budget committee
Summary
The council moved several out-of-budget community funding requests to the budget committee, including $30,000 for the wellness center, $11,900 for Stay at Home in Little Compton, $750 for East Bay Community Action Program, $30,000 for Little Compton Community Center, $37,500 for Little Compton Food Bank and $30,000 for Little Compton Celebrates America.

The items referred were: a $30,000 request for the wellness center; a $11,900 request from Stay at Home in Little Compton, Inc.; a $750 request from the East Bay Community Action Program; a $30,000 request from the Little Compton Community Center; a $37,500 request from the Little Compton Food Bank; and a $30,000 request from Little Compton Celebrates America. The motion to refer the requests to the budget committee was seconded and approved.
Council did not act to fund these requests at the meeting; they were placed into the out-of-budget folder for the budget committee to consider during budget deliberations.
