Oldsmar recognizes division chief, business of the quarter and principal at Jan. 6 meeting
Summary
The council honored Division Chief Greg Cargill (Oldsmar Fire Rescue) with the public service oath, presented the Business of the Quarter award to Fatbee Farm Kitchen & Bakery, and gave the council–manager award to Principal Greg Logan of Oldsmar Elementary.
At the Jan. 6 Oldsmar City Council meeting the chamber set aside time to recognize local public-service and business accomplishments.
Division Chief Greg Cargill of Oldsmar Fire Rescue received the public service oath in a short ceremony and photo opportunity. The council then presented the Business of the Quarter award for 2025 to Fatbee Farm Kitchen & Bakery; staff described the business’s farm-to-table approach and community education programs and noted the owner(s) would receive the plaque later.
Later the council presented the council–manager award to Principal Greg Logan of Oldsmar Elementary School. Dozens of staff, students, family members and community partners praised Logan’s leadership and connection to children and families; speakers highlighted improved school culture and community engagement under his tenure.
