The Board of Education of Thompson School District R-2J met in a special organizational session on Dec. 3, 2025, to acknowledge certified election results, administer oaths to newly elected directors, and elect board officers by secret ballot.
Laura Lee Ehlers, designated election official, read the county certification from Larimer, Weld and Boulder Counties that certified Mike Scholl, Alexander Lesson and Lori Goble as having received the highest number of votes for school director and therefore duly elected. Ehlers then administered the oath of office to Mike Scholl (District B), Alexandra (District E) and Lori Goble (District F). Several board members repeated the statutory oath, including the pledge to support the U.S. Constitution.
