On Dec. 18 the City Council cleared a large coupled calendar of land-use items, introductions, and resolutions. The clerk announced many items adopted with the following notable tallies (as read into the record):
- Intro 4-31-B (street vendor reform): 39 in favor, 9 opposed, 0 abstentions (adopted) - Intro 5-70-B (land bank/related finance item): 41 in favor, 7 opposed, 0 abstentions (adopted) - Intro 9-02-B (COPPA): 30 in favor, 10 opposed, 8 abstentions (adopted) - Intro 9-94-A (cooling requirement): adopted with the tallies announced in the clerk’s recital (part of broader adoption list)
The clerk also reported the adoption of many other introductions and preconsidered resolutions (transparency resolution, franchise resolutions, veterans-related referrals, and more). Members used recorded explanations of votes and disclosures on the record during roll call.
