At its Nov. 25 meeting, Roseville City Council and staff highlighted several holiday events and community notices.
City Manager Monroe reminded residents that City Hall will be closed Thursday and Friday for Thanksgiving and invited the public to the annual tree-lighting next Thursday, with festivities beginning about 6:00 p.m. and a special guest appearance around 7:30 p.m. Department head Garmickia said the Santa mailbox is located at the front entrance of City Hall, with forms available online and at the tree lighting; the mailbox will be available through Dec. 18.
Monroe and staff also said the city is seeking volunteers for boards and has code enforcement job openings posted on the city website. Council member Jones congratulated the police department for a recent arrest in an Applebee’s carjacking and urged residents to be vigilant during the holidays.
No formal actions were taken on these items; they were presented as informational reports and community reminders.
