Fulton board approves financials, accepts donations and awards Phase 4 construction contracts

FULTON — The Fulton City School District board approved a slate of consent‑agenda items Tuesday that included financial filings, audit reports, donations and multiple Phase 4 construction contract awards.

During a single business sequence, the board voted to accept the district financials (action 5.01), the corrective action plan for extra classroom (action 5.02), the single audit (action 5.03) and an internal controls audit report (action 5.04). The board also accepted donations from Constellation (employee match) and Compass Federal Credit Union (actions 5.05 and 5.06). No dollar amounts were specified in the meeting record.

On capital projects, LaChase Construction’s Matt Herbert (Speaker 11) and the district’s architects described multi‑phase work and noted Phase 1 was substantially completed and Phase 2/3 remain under construction.
