Contract award: Staff recommended and council approved awarding the City Hall HVAC controls replacement contract to Daniels Building and Construction (Beaumont) for $426,149 after bids came in well above the engineer’s estimate and available budget. Staff said the city would use general fund reserves to cover the difference so controls are installed before summer.
