Ben Kramer told the commission that construction has started on the lagoon/treatment plant (Sail Away project) and said contractors have substantially completed dike work and site shaping. Commissioners reviewed SRF disbursement paperwork and a contractor pay request in the amount of $169,100, along with an internal invoice and drawdown paperwork on CDBG/CVG funds presented for approval.
After confirming inspection and testing protocols and that the county has a project representative on site, commissioners voted to sign and approve the disbursement applications as provided by project staff. The motion covered the contractor pay request and the county’s drawdown form and was carried by voice vote.
Staff said the project remains on schedule for grant deadlines; project representatives will email copies of forms and follow up with signature lines and required documentation.
