For sanitary projects, commissioners approved awards: the wastewater treatment plant digester aeration/settling tank improvements (Project No. 536, Phase 2) was awarded to Industrial Services for $2,644,865 (low bid; non-general funds), and the Poland Village pedestrian bridge improvement (Project No. 542) was awarded to SCT Incorporated with Willow Mill for $744,168.45 using ARPA and general fund money.
Staff also presented personnel and memorial-related resolutions, including adjustments to veteran services commissioners' compensation and a Memorial Day allowance of $250 to veteran organizations and $100 to civic organizations, authorized under Ohio Revised Code §307.66.
