The Corte Madera Parks and Recreation Commission on Jan. 8 voted to adopt a draft 2026 meeting calendar with two special meeting dates to cover scheduling gaps.
Staff presented a draft schedule and explained the proposed makeup dates: a special meeting on Monday, May 18 to make up for a May 25 conflict, and a combined November/December meeting on Thursday, Dec. 17. A commissioner observed that the packet initially contained 2025 dates; staff agreed to correct that. The commission noted July could pose quorum challenges but agreed to keep the date on the calendar and cancel if unnecessary.
A motion to accept the proposed calendar passed on a roll call vote; staff will update the calendar materials and proceed with the schedule, canceling individual meetings if there are insufficient agenda items.
The commission’s next regular meeting is scheduled for Jan. 26, 2026.
