Commissioners shift $495 for VetPro software to veteran services line item

On Jan. 13 the Hardin County Commissioners approved a minor budget transfer to fund VetPro software for veteran services.
Kristen White, veteran services officer, requested moving $495 from a miscellaneous line to a new software line item to cover VetPro. The auditor asked to review the contract to confirm whether any additional small charges were required; White said ARPA had paid for last year’s installation.
The court approved the transfer by voice vote. The change is administrative and will be recorded in the FY26 budget lines.
