Board extends Milestone resurfacing contract and approves Kennedy Avenue change orders

City Engineer Dean Button told the board Milestone offered to hold its current pricing for another year and recommended approval of an extension. Button also said the Kennedy Avenue change orders involve relocations and other items "with no additional cost" and that "the project's gonna be about $50,000 under budget." The board moved both items by motion and approved them by voice votes.
The board did not identify any new funding request tied to the change orders; Button said available program funds would cover the work. The approvals keep the resurfacing contractor and the Kennedy Avenue project on their current schedules; no amendments to contract language or new fiscal commitments were described at the meeting.
The board also approved related routine maintenance and facilities contracts later in the agenda.
