North Ridgeville Planning Commission elects officers and names liaisons

At its Jan. 13 meeting the Planning Commission appointed Smolik as chairman, Paul Schuman as vice chairman, Tina Weber as secretary, Frank Toth as liaison to the Board of Zoning and Building Appeals, and Cliff Winkle as alternate; all appointments were approved by roll call.
The City of North Ridgeville Planning Commission held its organizational business at the Jan. 13 meeting and approved a slate of officers and liaisons.
Commissioners nominated and confirmed the following: Smolik as chairman, Paul Schuman as vice chairman, Tina Weber as secretary, Frank Toth as liaison to the Board of Zoning and Building Appeals, and Cliff Winkle as alternate liaison. The secretary called a roll across the positions and commissioners Ali, Toth, Schuman, Winkle and Smolik each answered "Yes," confirming the slate.
Chair congratulated the newly appointed officers and welcomed them to service on behalf of the City of North Ridgeville.
The commission also noted a Planning Commission member will serve on the city's recreation master plan steering committee and that any commissioner may attend steering-committee meetings even if not the formal designee.
The meeting then moved to administrative approvals and the single substantive agenda item (Ordinance 2025-159) before adjourning.
