Custer County BOCC approves budget amendments, mill-levy certification, contracts and benefit renewals

At its Dec. 18 meeting the Custer County Board of County Commissioners certified special district mill levies and HUTF mileage, approved budget amendments (Res. 25-68 and 25-69), a sheriff contract with Silver Cliff, insurance selections and several employee-benefit renewals, and authorized a seasonal hire for San Isabel snow plowing.
The Custer County Board of County Commissioners on Dec. 18 certified special taxing district mill levies and accepted multiple administrative and fiscal actions, including budget amendments, insurance renewals and intergovernmental agreements.
Vice Chair Lucas Epp read the treasurer's balance, saying the county began Oct. 1, 2025 with $9,636,681 and, after disbursements and credits, was sitting at $9,722,337. The board voted to accept the treasurer's report.
