Rossford City Council on Jan. 12 adopted three emergency measures and approved a parks grant resolution as it moves forward with development projects in the Crossroads area.
The council voted to adopt Ordinance 2026-01, a Crossroads Area stormwater detention policy that city administrator Allison said “dictates this area” and sets operational standards for detention ponds and drainage as the Choice Properties/Crossroads area develops. Allison told the council the policy clarifies what to do when a basin is low or high and will help avoid adding future retention ponds in the area.
