Paulding County OKs $3.91 million first phase for Richland Creek Reservoir Park

The Paulding County Board of Commissioners voted to authorize Chairman Estes to enter into a contract with Magnum Construction for the first phase of the Richland Creek Reservoir Park project for $3,912,567.48, the board said. Funding for the contract was identified as SPLOST and the work is located in Post 4.

The decision came as part of the board’s approvals reported during this week’s meeting recap. The contract covers the first phase of park construction adjacent to the newly installed 16-inch water main; the county will notate materials or other in-kind contributions separately as the project advances, officials said in the recap.
