The Delaware Valley School District board voted to approve a memorandum of understanding allowing Sussex County Community College to offer evening classes at district facilities, beginning with the spring semester, board members said.
A district administrator explained the arrangement will let local residents and returning students take continuing-education classes closer to home and will also provide seats for students who already attend Sussex. Trustees said many courses will run Monday through Thursday evenings and that offerings may include math, English, computer and social sciences.
Trustees and administrators praised the partnership. One trustee thanked Dr. Constantino for organizing courses, locations and professors, noting that some instructors will be district staff. Board members said the satellite campus will expand opportunities for both high-school students and adults seeking continuing education.
The board approved the MOU by voice vote; no opposition was recorded on the public minutes.
The district also approved the DDA spring 2026 course list and instructors at the same meeting, which board members described as broadening offerings for both students and the adult community.
