BUTTE, Mont. — The Butte-Silver Bow Council of Commissioners Committee of the Whole met Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2026, and unanimously voted to place council communication 202090 on file while taking several land-sale and procurement items under advisement.
David Lowell, a resident of 2643 Ottawa Street, urged the council to support the proposed Sabey data center, saying it "would be good for our community" and "would provide some jobs." Lowell told commissioners that "water for sure is addressed — it's a closed loop system" and that "the power is handled by the PSC." His comments came during the public-comment period on agenda…
