Planning commission reappoints chair, names vice chair and approves meeting minutes

Fountain Hills — The Fountain Hills Planning and Zoning Commission took several routine actions at its Jan. 12 meeting, reappointing its chair, selecting a vice chair and approving prior minutes.
Commissioner Proctor nominated the reappointment of Chair Kovacevic for another year; the nomination was seconded and approved by voice vote. Commissioner Corrigan nominated, and the commission approved, Commissioner Gray as vice chair after another potential nominee declined.
Earlier in the meeting the commission moved to approve the regular meeting minutes from Dec. 8; the motion passed with a unanimous voice vote. The meeting concluded after a staff report and scheduling discussion.
All recorded votes on these procedural items were unanimous 'Aye.'
