Concord Township council approved three resolutions granting short-term ground leases at Bush Hill Farm and a separate resolution to clarify and record a sanitary sewer easement on Daugherty Boulevard.
The leases approved include: a 2026 lease for David and Leslie Berkehiser to graze two horses on 9.5 acres for $200 per month; a 2026 lease for Kathy Protesto to graze three horses for $225 per month; and a lease to Jonathan Tropea for roughly 3 acres with a barn to keep goats and sheep, not to exceed 55 animals, for the 2026 term. Council moved and approved the three lease resolutions by voice vote.
Separately, Resolution 15 (2026) addresses a past installation of a sewer line and an associated miscommunication about property boundaries roughly 25 years ago. Council approved expanding the recorded easement per provided metes and bounds and authorized the township to record the corrected description at the courthouse so the township and private owners have clear documentation of the right-of-way.
