At its meeting, the Connecticut state licensing board approved a series of licensure actions and administrative items and set follow‑up steps for a subset of applicants whose files lacked required evaluations or experience verification.
The board approved reconsideration and exam credit motions for multiple applicants, including approval motions for Joshua (class 6b exam credit), Timothy Manley (class 4 reciprocity), Karen De Casa, Ryan Gee, Kendall Jones, Jonathan Kokomo, Andrew Moncrief, and the issuance of EIT certificates for a group of candidates. Motions to approve were moved and seconded and carried by voice vote where recorded.
The board accepted the minutes of its Nov. 18 meeting. Staff and members confirmed several other approvals for applicants with foreign degrees evaluated as equivalent by NCEES or who met experience criteria; a small number of applicants were approved subject to verification of active licenses or completion of the required 4 years’ experience.
For a handful of candidates, the board instructed staff to request additional materials: an NCEES evaluation for Drumheller, verification that DuCharme will reach four years of qualifying experience, and confirmation of employment status or licensing where resumes were incomplete. Those items were tabled or approved conditionally until staff completes the checks.
Next steps: staff will update applicant files with the board’s determinations and produce a list of conditional approvals and items to be re‑heard at the next meeting.
