Church Elementary — and invited Mr. and Mrs. Primus to the dais. White recounted Primus’s long career in education dating to 1963 and his principalships and community programs; the council approved the resolution by acclamation. "Thank you so very much," Primus said as he accepted the recognition.
Councilman Jeffrey Warren sponsored the resolution honoring Bishop Jerry L. Ivory Sr., summarizing Ivory’s biographical history, international ministry, founding of faith-based recovery services and local community work; a family representative accepted the council’s condolences and pledged continued service to the community. The memorial resolution was adopted by acclamation.
