The Dunn County Administration Committee has moved a chief financial officer candidate forward and the County Manager announced a hire on Jan. 14.
Supervisor Vaughn Hedlund reported the Administration Committee met Jan. 6 to interview a CFO candidate, who completed a scenario exercise and performed well; the committee approved forwarding the candidate for an employment agreement. County Manager Dan Dunbar separately announced that the county has hired Britney Andrews as its new CFO and that Andrews will be introduced at next week’s County Board meeting.
Hedlund also reported that, at the committee’s Dec. 18 meeting, members approved vouchers and adjusted FTEs and job grades as needed to align roles without providing across‑the‑board raises. The Administration Committee’s next meeting is scheduled for Jan. 22.
Next steps: Britney Andrews to attend and be formally introduced at the County Board meeting next week; Administration Committee to continue onboarding and finalize employment agreement details as appropriate.
