At its Jan. 14 meeting the Stormwater Board ratified a list of carryovers from last year's funds that had not been ready by the December meeting, after Speaker 3 presented the prepared list and Speaker 2 moved for ratification; the motion carried on roll-call 'aye' votes.
In reports Speaker 3 said Homeland Security/FEMA announced the official closeout of the board's 2018 mitigation grant. "At the end of last year... we have the official closeout," Speaker 3 said, noting completion of the FEMA mitigation grant closeout.
The board also discussed the stormwater utility rate study item; Speaker 3 said the study would probably be pushed to next week because internal scheduling had not been completed. No formal action on the rate study was taken.
Speaker 1 asked for approval of the claims docket as presented; Speaker 2 moved and Speaker 3 seconded. A roll-call vote recorded multiple 'aye' responses and the claims docket was approved. With no other business, the board adjourned at 04:12.
After adjournment Speaker 3 asked when monthly bills would be on the agenda; that administrative question was not acted on during the meeting.
