Advisory board approves minutes, hears reports and adjourns; next meeting Feb. 19

The Davenport Park and Recreation Advisory Board opened the January session, confirmed a quorum and approved the Dec. meeting minutes by motion and voice vote. The chair moved to approve the minutes, a board member seconded, and the motion carried.
Following staff reports and a presentation on accreditation, the board discussed park operations, outreach and youth sports before the chair moved to adjourn. A member seconded the adjournment motion; voice votes were recorded and the meeting was adjourned. Board members noted the next regular meeting will be Feb. 19 at City Hall at 4:30 p.m.
No formal policy votes or expenditures were taken during the meeting; staff will follow up on accreditation engagement opportunities, conservatory recovery updates and volunteer recruitment work.
