Chelsea panel approves Los Amigos manager/location change, orders clerical correction to Sunday hours

The Chelsea Licensing Commission on Jan. 15 approved a change of manager and change of location for Sandoval MJA Inc., doing business as Los Amigos, at 92 Washington Ave.
Attorney Mark White explained the previous location at 339 Broadway suffered a fire after transfer to the current holder and the business relocated. Commissioners and licensing staff identified a clerical error on the current license: several local licenses listed start times earlier than 10:00 a.m. on Sundays, in conflict with Commonwealth rules. Licensing staff confirmed those licenses would be adjusted and reissued with a memo explaining the correction.
The Chelsea Police Department reported minimal call history for Los Amigos since it began operating under its current name. Commissioners approved the change of manager and location by voice vote and asked staff to mail corrected licenses reflecting lawful Sunday start times.
