Simsbury Board accepts retirement, resignation and approves guaranteed leave

The board also accepted the resignation of special-education teacher Tara Daley, effective Dec. 23, 2025; Daley had been in the position for four months. Finally, the board approved a guaranteed leave of absence for art teacher Sarah Grant, effective Feb. 2, 2026, through June 30, 2027, with a guaranteed position upon her return. Each action was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote.
