Abraham Onset donates $100,000 to Champion Lakes; event proclaims Jan. 5 'Grand Answer Day'

"It is my honor to announce that Abraham Onset has generously donated $100,000 to Champion Lakes Golf Course," said Unidentified Speaker 1 during a ceremony at the course. Organizers presented a plaque that will be permanently displayed at the facility and read a proclamation declaring Jan. 5, 2026, as Grand Answer Day.

The guest who spoke to the crowd described being moved by the turnout of children and the questions they asked. "Seeing them, hearing the questions they were asking me, I was like, wow, this community is really into golf," said Unidentified Speaker 2, who also recounted growing up in Reynosa and making San Antonio his home while returning often to the McAllen area to visit family.
