At the end of its Jan. 7 work session, the Village Council moved to enter closed session to discuss legal matters related to the Schedler property.
The resolution stated the closed session was permissible under New Jersey statute NJSA 10:4-12 and directed that the closed-session minutes be made available to the public once the matters are resolved by council resolution. A council member moved and another seconded the motion; the council responded with a voice vote of "Aye" and no on‑record opposition was recorded during the work session. The closed session was scheduled to occur in the Caucus Room on the fourth floor of Village Hall.
No substantive discussion from the closed session was disclosed at the work session; staff said minutes will be released after the council determines the matters are completed.
