• Lane Runs Business Park Phase 3 — contract amendment: Staff and Jordan Haney (Thoroughbred) described a bid-quantity discrepancy for a 4-inch conduit item (bid document showed 5,800 linear feet while the circulated bid form listed 5,900 linear feet). Council approved a cleanup amendment to the previously awarded contract to account for the difference, a change in the amount of roughly $3,400, to ensure contract quantities match the original bid solicitation.
• Special Response Team (SRT) MOU with Georgetown-Scott County EMS: Assistant Chief Nash described an interagency MOU to provide medics to the SRT addressing responsibilities for pay, overtime, ballistic vests and confidentiality. Council discussed the MOU’s two-year fixed term (to permit review and adjustments) and approved the agreement.
Other routine items approved by voice vote included the minutes for the Dec. 22, 2025 meeting and receipt of the check registry. No recorded opposition was entered for the major measures during the meeting.
