On procedural items, the council approved the December meeting minutes (motion by Bobby, second Kennan), approved quarterly commissary fund disbursements following a sheriff-provided letter, and approved the recorder’s perpetuation fund statement. Reappointments to the tourism commission for Donna Talber and Mary Nicholson Tate were approved by voice vote. The council also approved a Spiceland appointment to replace Phyllis Roland with Theresa (last name unclear in the transcript).
The council reviewed and approved liaison assignments and voted to continue regular meetings on the second Wednesday of each month at 4:30 p.m.
Separately, Braden reported a recent state meeting about extra funding for two bridges, including the 400 South bridge.
