The council ratified the chair's sanctioning of the Alaska Sea Life Center annual soiree after staff confirmed the Sea Life Center's 501(c)(3) status. Representative Hannon said the soiree will be held in January in Anchorage.
The council approved a late travel reimbursement for Senator Cronk for travel Aug. 24–26, 2025, for a total of $866 after accounting verified the expenses. Senator Stedman moved the authorization and Ms. Truitt recorded a roll‑call result of 12 yeas, 0 nays.
The council also approved three late travel reimbursements for Representative Holland covering trips July 16–24, Aug. 28, and Sept. 14–19, 2025. Holland explained that an administrative issue (LIO did not recognize him as a current legislator in the filing queue) led to the late submissions; accounting had verified the expenses and the council approved the requests by roll call, 12–0.
