Fountain Hills board recognizes winter athletes for state qualifications and records

The coach noted the team’s average GPA was 3.9 and thanked coaches, parents and Sodexo for supporting events and travel (lane rentals in Scottsdale were cited).
The cross‑country coach summarized hosting the Fountain Hills Invitational (63 schools), athletes’ trip to California and Disney, multiple personal records and that the district fielded a full qualifying boys team for state for the first time since 2016. Coaches highlighted several student standouts and said many athletes will move on to winter and spring sports.
Board members and the superintendent praised the students’ accomplishments and community support.
