Staff indicated the pipe will be replaced with ductile iron and the street will be repaved as part of the work.
Councilors asked questions about the annual AC replacement target (city target ~500 feet/year) and about pavement impacts; staff said the city has CIP line items and has pursued congressional directed spending in recent cycles but intends to chip away at the issue starting with logical problem areas such as Taylor Avenue.
