The Robbinsdale Area School Board took several formal actions at its June 3 business meeting:
Armstrong and Cooper high schools: The board unanimously approved resolutions to maintain membership in the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) for Armstrong and Cooper. Director Bassett moved the Armstrong resolution (seconded by Director Bowman); the motion was approved by roll-call (all yes). Director Hillenbrand moved the Cooper resolution (seconded by Director Wuto); that resolution also passed 6-0.
Policies (101, 101.1102 and 103): The board approved several policy updates (second reading) recommended by the policy committee. Director Bowman moved approval; Director Wutto seconded. The policies passed by voice vote.
Consent agenda: The board approved the consent agenda by roll call with five yes votes and one no (Director Long voted no). The consent agenda included the Q-Comp annual report, draft minutes, personnel reports and financial reports.
Adjournment: The meeting adjourned by motion and voice vote and the board convened a work session.
Ending: The board recorded the outcomes in the minutes and moved forward to the scheduled work session topics.
