South St. Paul students highlight winter athletics, arts and clubs at board meeting

Highlights the board heard: - Theater: Eric Holson described the winter one-act program, which included six short plays, a competition one-act, a middle school one-act and four student-written student-directed skits. Holson said 73 students participated (49 actors, 15 technicians and 10 student directors); four student writers were paid $50 each from the Deb Clark Memorial Theater Fund for the playwriting contest and the program advanced to a section competition.
