Commissioners approve consent agenda including emergency-sheltering MOUs and EMS mileage fee update

At the start of its Feb. 4 meeting, the Board of County Commissioners approved the consent agenda covering routine annual and intergovernmental items.
The consent agenda included: approval of the warrant register; minutes for the Jan. 29, 2025 meeting; a Clear Creek County Office of Emergency Management memorandum of understanding with Clear Creek Metro Recreation District for emergency sheltering; an amendment to the county’s water leasing and basin-wide augmentation agreement with the Town of Georgetown; cooperative law enforcement agreements between the county Department of Human Services and the Idaho Springs Police Department, Empire Police Department and the Clear Creek County Sheriff's Office; a memorandum of understanding on emergency sheltering with Rocky Mountain Village/Easterseals; a letter of support for a Georgetown Heritage and Energy Park grant application to the National Park Service River Trails and Conservation Assistance Program; and Resolution 25-21 updating the county EMS mileage fee structure and rescinding Resolution 24-95.
The board moved to approve “as read” and the motion passed without comment. Commissioners said the annual agreements required by state law were routine and that the MOUs on emergency sheltering were important for preparedness.
