The Richland City Council took several formal votes on Feb. 4:
- Consent calendar (unanimously approved by roll-call vote): approval of meeting minutes (Jan. 21 and Jan. 28), Resolution 2025-18 authorizing award of a bid to Prater Electric Inc. for the Stevens Substation Expansion and Bank 1 Construction Project; Resolution 2025-20 authorizing a consultant agreement with KPFF Consulting Engineers for the Horn Rapids Veil Extension Project; and Resolution 2025-21 accepting Move Ahead Washington grant funds for the SR 240/Aaron Drive Complete Streets Improvements. The consent calendar was moved and seconded and passed by roll call with all council members voting in favor.
- Resolution 2025-22 (amendment to the 2025–2030 Transportation Improvement Program): Council approved the amendment to add the SR 240/Aaron Drive interchange improvement project to the TIP and accept associated Move Ahead Washington funds. Public works staff said the funding helps advance design work; council approved the resolution by voice vote with no opposition.
All items passed; there were no recorded dissenting votes on the resolutions listed in the consent calendar or on Resolution 2025-22.
