Mayor Jamie Arroyo announced on Jan. 13 that the city will launch a customer-facing website and brand for the municipal water utility called Lancaster City Water.
"On Wednesday, the city of Lancaster will be launching a customer-facing website and brand for our water utility, Lancaster City Water," Arroyo said. The mayor said the new site will provide bill-payment options, customer-service details, proposed rate changes, water quality reports and a service-line inventory. Arroyo emphasized the city will retain ownership of the water utility and that the site is intended to be a customer-friendly portal for ratepayers.
The mayor provided the site URL to council: water.cityoflancasterpa.gov. Council members received a fact sheet about the change and asked staff to make the fact sheet available for questions.
