Monroe Police recognize officer of year; Kwik Trip and Tractor Supply donate to explorer program

Chief Boland also announced monetary donations to the department to support an explorer program: Kwik Trip contributed $6,000 and Tractor Supply $500. Boland said the funds would help expand outreach and programming for youth involved with the department’s explorer activities.
No formal council action was taken on the recognitions or donations during the meeting; the chief publicly thanked the donors.
