At the Jan. 15 meeting staff summarized legislation passed by the Baltimore County Council since the board's last meeting.
Items reported included Bill 73-25 (amending zoning regulations to add an artisan manufacturing use with definitions and location requirements); Bill 74-25 (permitting offices including co-working spaces with ancillary commercial kitchens in parts of the BMCCC commercial overlay); Bill 75-25 (authorizing rental property inspections and enforcement, including entry remedies for certain violations); Bill 81-25 (permitting an animal boarding place class B in specified commercial revitalization districts); and Bill 90-25 (establishing a sidewalks exception in the Honeygo area under defined circumstances). Staff also reported Resolution 61-25, which amends the Towson Commercial Revitalization District boundary to add a specified parcel, and Resolution 62-25, approving the county's contribution toward FY25-26 agricultural preservation easement purchases under state and county code provisions.
Staff concluded the report without further board action; items will proceed through the council and administrative processes described in zoning and land-preservation rules.
