Administrators described steps to increase writing opportunities, celebrate National Day of Writing and engage students in projects that demonstrate depth of knowledge. The superintendent also announced calendar-planning timelines, a kindergarten registration meeting on March 2 at 7 p.m., and district events including an eighth-grade production of "Madagascar" and an upcoming Science Olympiad and Power of the Pen tournament.
Board members thanked staff and students for presentations and noted the importance of continuing professional development and community engagement to support instructional goals.
