Board approves consent agenda including personnel, donations and travel; recusals and abstentions recorded

The Lacey Township School District board moved through its new‑business items and approved the consent agenda, which included approval of meeting minutes, list of bills, transfers (A3–A4), finance and facilities items (A5–A8), tuition and transportation (A9–A11), policies, personnel items and donations.

Motions for each grouped section were made, seconded and approved by roll call throughout the latter half of the meeting. The meeting record shows several members abstained or recused themselves where appropriate: Vice President Steve Goen stated he would abstain specifically on item A8 with respect to the Lacey Recreation lease/Little League ("I abstain from those 2"), and multiple members announced a recusal from A17 (Hibbs) and abstentions on A16 or A17 as recorded during roll call.

The motions covered standard operational items, including certificated personnel D1–D10 and non‑certificated personnel E1–E8, donations (page 10) and approvals for professional days and travel. No walk‑ons were added to the agenda.
