House Transportation Committee votes to introduce three committee measures for the 2026 session
Summary

At the conclusion of presentations and discussions, Vice Chair (Representative 11) moved that the committee introduce three legislative concept drafts as committee measures: LC 255 (dated 01/12/2026), LC 257 (dated 01/09/2026) and LC 258 (dated 12/23/2025). The motion required a majority of the committee and was seconded.
The clerk conducted a roll call. Members recorded as voting in the affirmative included Representative Evans, Representative Gamba, Representative Helfrich, Representative Mannix, Representative Nathanson, Vice Chair Balzar Davis and Chair McLean. The chair announced the motion passed and staff confirmed the bills will be dropped at the House desk and assigned bill numbers, with drafts and any amendments to be posted on OLIS for member review.
Committee staff said they will send assigned bill numbers to members and accept member requests and amendments in advance of formal hearings in the 2026 session.
