Dunn County Manager previews Jan. 21 meeting; board to vote on supervisor appointment and introduces new CFO

The Jan. 21 agenda will include annual reports from the county clerk’s office, delivered by Andrew Mursell, and from the transit and facilities department, presented by Austin Witt. The board will also consider the first reading of an action reimbursement policy ordinance described in the preview as intended to "clarify and clean up" language while the county transitions to a new financial system; Dan Dunbar noted the board typically does not act on an ordinance at its first reading.
Dan Dunbar said the county is in the midst of a large financial system migration that has been underway for several years and is now nearing completion. "The new system is expected to be transformative, creating efficiencies and improving reporting capabilities across the county," he said.
Other items noted for the coming months include carry-forward requests, another ordinance update, and the setting of salaries for the clerk of courts and sheriff. Residents were reminded that meetings can be watched afterward on the Dunn County YouTube channel.
