The Franklin City Plan Commission handled routine organizational items at the start of its Jan. 20 meeting, unanimously approving the existing officer slate for the year, appointing Lynn Gray as legal counsel and approving the minutes of the Dec. 16, 2025 meeting.
The chair opened nominations for president, vice president and secretary and a motion to keep last year's slate was moved and seconded and passed by voice vote. A subsequent motion to retain Lynn Gray as the commission's legal counsel likewise passed on a voice vote. The commission then approved the Dec. 16 minutes after a motion and second. The meeting concluded after a motion to adjourn passed unanimously.
These procedural actions were recorded before the commission took up the Cambria Hills annexation and rezoning petitions later in the evening.
