The application also seeks a springboard canopy, a digital pre-browse menu board and a larger outdoor digital menu board, and requests a reduction in off-street parking requirements associated with an expanded drive-through. Staff and some board members said signage had been less controversial in prior hearings and that current concerns focus on whether a second lane would induce additional demand and affect traffic flow.
Core States Group civil engineer Tariq and traffic engineer Ethan were present to answer technical questions, but the project lead was absent and the latest traffic analysis was not in the packet. Chuck (board member) moved to table the application until TTP comments and an updated traffic report are available; the motion passed unanimously.
The board said it expects to revisit the application at a future meeting after the outstanding materials are submitted.
