The Middletown Planning Commission approved the final plat for the Lincoln Village planned development at its Jan. 14 meeting.
Staff presented the final plat as a largely ministerial action following earlier approvals of the preliminary plat and final development plan. The final plat creates 62 parcels: 59 parcels for residential dwellings (approx. 3.682 acres), three private open-space parcels totaling about 1.241 acres, and nearly 1 acre to be dedicated as public right-of-way (Scholars Way). Staff noted typical easements and one administrative comment from public works and engineering: county water-and-sewer signature lines should be removed from the front page because the city will provide those services.
Mahali Sevastakis of BehrBecker, the project consultant, said construction is ongoing, staff comments would be resolved and asked the commission to approve the record plat. Commissioners treated the item as a formality, moved to approve and recorded affirmative votes.
