After public input and the city manager’s report, the council considered routine business.
Councilor LaRue Graham reported no changes to the consent calendar; a motion to approve was made and seconded. The mayor called a voice vote; council members answered 'Aye' and the motion carried. The council similarly moved to approve the minutes of the July 21, 2025 meeting; that motion was made, seconded and approved by voice vote.
The council noted that there were no further action items on the agenda, confirmed that the Aug. 18 meeting was canceled for summer break and then approved a motion to adjourn. The meeting ended by voice vote.
Votes recorded in the meeting were voice votes; the transcript records 'Aye' responses and no 'No' responses during these items. The transcript does not include a roll-call vote tally by name for any of these motions.
