Council members discussed whether to supplement the program this year or adjust future budget requests. Several councilors suggested publishing the funded and unfunded lists on the town website to help potential donors and to encourage community support for organizations that did not receive full funding. Council approved staff’s recommended option; staff noted they could return with a higher budget request for 2027 if council desires.
The approved package funds a mix of service organizations and legacy community events; staff will publish the funded and unfunded lists and consider adding donor links on the town’s website.
